Saklikent Ski Resort - winter fairytale

Saklıkent is a short-season ski resort 50km west of Antalya (1hour by bus), in the Beydag mountain range.

Saklıkent offers you the chance to ski and swim in the sea on the same day. The skiing at Saklıkent is on the lower slopes of Mount Bakırlı which is 2547m in height, allowing the season to often extend well into April. Two T-bars service two easy ski runs.

If you are in Antalya during winter, this will be a nice day activity for the whole family. Plan one hour each way from Antalya center to reach the center. Road is scenic and a little rough at times, but you can see all sorts of small cars going up, so it is okay to go up in any car. 
At the center you can take skiing lessons, there are little ski carts, gentle ski slope, and a ski lift will take you higher to the steeper slopes. You can hire equipment there as well.
