You should definitely explore the surroundings of the Ancient City of Selge, which is located in Manavgat Köprülü Canyon National Park and consisting of 65-million-year-old "conglomerate" rocks. It calls also "Fairy Chimneys of the Taurus Mountains", "Avatar Land", "Cappadocia of Antalya". The rocks, called Adam rocks (Adam means man in English), are welcoming visitors with a magnificent forest view because they are 10 to 70 meters tall and resemble people standing in shape. Kaş Antiphellos Ancient Theater

One of the important works in Antiphellos is Kas Antique Theater (1st century BC). The building, which has a spectator capacity of 4 thousand people, was repaired in the 2nd century AD. The theater consisting of 26 steps has no stage and the most important feature of the building is that it is the only theater facing the sea in Anatolia. In the north-east of the theater named Akdam called IV BC. There is a house type grave of the century. The building was built by cutting natural rock. It is 3.5 meters high and contains 24 girl figures that hold hands and dance.

Aspendos Ancient City

Aspendos Aqueducts:

Roman aqueducts which is and bringing water from the mountains in the north over Köprüçay to Aspendos come from the 2nd century AD. They're 1 kilometer long and 15 meters high. An inscription found in Aspendos shows that it was built by Tiberius Claudius Italicus.

Aspendos theatre:

It is one of the largest of its kind made by the Romans in Anatolia and one of the best preserved examples of Roman theater architecture today. It was built between 160-180 AD during the reign of Marcus Aurelius. The inscription on the west entrance wall is written that the architect was the son of Theodorus Zenon and was the gift of two rich brothers named A. Curtius Crispinus Arruntianus and A.Curtius Crispinus. It has a facade of approximately 100 meters wide and 22 meters high. The use of the theater as a Seljuk palace in the 13th century makes it unique. Thanks to its surprising level of protection compared to its unusual use, the theater sheds light on different historical layers. While the reused material, which can be detected in the window frames (eg animal figured stones), can reveal the traces of Achamenid, the use of tiles (some of which are exhibited in the Antalya Museum) and the presence of Seljuk designs in the stage building add an even more historic depth to the monument.

Yalan Dünya Cave

Yalan Dünya Cave, located in Gazipaşa district of Antalya, is quite impressive with its magnificent appearance. There are many stalactites, stalagmites, cavities, chambers and tunnels, and a cool stroll can be made for 4 kilometers. This place, where the temperature is always 28 degrees, is one of the favorite escape points of the visitors who come to the region in the summer. The cave, which has been formed for more than 5 million years, continues to change and develop today. The area, which was not used much by the local people in the past, now attracts attention by being illuminated.

Çığlıkara Forest

Çığlıkara Forest is the optimum spreading area of rare trees. Cedar trees that are over two thousand years old are protected at this highest point in the Western Taurus. You can get special permission by entering this forest, which has no settlements around it. The Dokuz Lakes region, located in the pits in this place where the Kızlar Sivrisi is seen from across, is green in all seasons.
