A plateau is an area of highland usually consisting relatively flat terrain. It is also called a tableland or high plain. Some types of plateau include dissected plateau and volcanic plateau. The former is formed by erosion processes of glaciers on mountain ranges and the latter by volcanic activities.

1- Feslikan Plateau

Feslikan Plateau, which looks as if though it has its back to Alaben Mountain, consists of spread neighborhoods and looks like it is nestled inside a pit when viewed from the sky. 

Easy to get to Feslikan Plateau is 45 kilometers from Antalya city center and the road from the center to the plateau is asphalt.

2- Gömbe Plateau

One of the most famous and coolest plateaus of Antalya, Gömbe Plateau apple, is known for its coconut and pearl and is known for its oil wrestling. Located 70 kilometers from Kaş, Gömbe is reached along the road with red pine, cedar and juniper trees and squirrels.

You can swim in the ice-cold water of Yeşilgöl, a crater lake, and you can enjoy nature by walking to Uçarsu Waterfall, which falls 60 meters down the hill of Akdağ, and you can catch beautiful photo frames in this beautiful nature.

3- Saklıkent (Saklı) Plateau

Saklikent Plateau is located in the Mediterranean Region on the Beydağları in the west of Antalya, 50 km northwest of Antalya city center. Due to its proximity to Antalya, it is one of the rare places where two seasons can be lived in one day. The plateau is reached by a beautiful scenic road, 10 km of which is stabilized from 40 km of asphalt from Antalya. There are also ski facilities in Saklıkent Plateau, located at an altitude of 1850 m in the middle of the Bey Mountains range in the northwest of Antalya. Karçukuru, Feslikan Plateau, Yazır Plateau, Moryer, Eren Mountain, Fesleğen Plateau, Yazır Ridge, Bereket Mountain are nice place for camping and picnicking by visiting the highland, which is popular in this area. 

4- Gedevet Plateau

Gedevet Plateau is located within the borders of Dere Köy, a village of Alanya, at 1100 altitude above sea level and 21 km from the district. The plateau, which is full of asphalted apartments, villas and farm houses, has been serving with daily picnic areas since the summer of 2006. Gedevet Plateau has become more and more popular with the spreading of highland tourism that has become prominent in recent years. The plateau, which is very cool in the summer due to its height above sea level, will be a great getaway for those who are overwhelmed by the heat of Alanya.

5- Gökbel Plateau

Access to the plateau, which is only 7 km from Alanya and 140 km from Antalya, is comfortable. You can reach Kestel from Alanya in 15 minutes at any time of the day by local buses, and you can go to Gökbel Plateau from there.

6- Finike-Ördübek Plateau

The Finike-Ördübek Yayla lies at an altitude of 1100 m and is reached after 41 km of forest routes and six km of mountain routes. Although the yayla has a wealth of flora, it lacks touristic infrastructure and visitors should bring their own equipment and provisions.
